Julie brings warmth and welcome to B'nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim (BJBE). On Tuesdays and Fridays, she greets visitors and prepares materials in the art room, helping the community feel supported and included.

Her role was thoughtfully shaped through collaboration between Julie, her mom Susan, TotalLink Employment Specialist Bridget, and BJBE’s Director of Jewish Living and Learning, Susie Wexler. “Julie is so happy with her new job,” Susan shared. “When we met with temple staff, they asked how best to support Julie and were eager to accommodate her needs. Our hearts were touched.”

Julie’s presence has been just as meaningful for BJBE. As Susie reflected, “Having Julie here brings warmth and joy to our space.” Julie agrees: “I love it so much. I can’t wait to come back. I feel productive here.”
