After being furloughed from his previous job, John joined Max and Benny’s in August 2022 as a table busser. With a positive attitude and resilience, he quickly impressed his employment coach, Drew Philips: “John always comes to work with a smile on his face.”

Starting with just two days a week, John’s hard work paid off - he now works four days a week, including busy weekend shifts.

“John is a great asset to the team and is loved by the staff,” says President Ben Schlan. His mom, Alice Archabal, adds, “He loves working with the staff, serving customers, and taking pride in his contributions.”
